I just wanted to take a moment to talk about something I’m really proud of. Forged in Battle and Shadow War—the first two books in my Command Decision series—are, in my opinion, some of the best work I’ve ever done. I am not blowing smoke here… this series is something special, very much like Stiger’s Tigers.

I listened to the first chapter of the audiobook and just had one of those wow moments… “I can’t believe I wrote this…” It came out that good. If you haven’t checked this series out yet, now is the perfect time.

My editor and the incredible team at Second Sky (Hachette) are awesome. They’ve been unbelievably supportive and instrumental in helping me take my writing to the next level. They’re also working hard to grow this series and get it in front of new readers—which, as you probably know, is no easy feat these days.

A little about the book!
