December Writing Update
A quick update on my writing and a personal note at the end.
By Bow, Daggers and Sword, A Ranger’s Tale Part Two: The first 3 chapters are live on Patreon. All members of the legion will have early access to the story. Chapter 4 should be up soon. If you enjoyed Part One, you are not going to want to miss this one.
Paladin’s Light, Tovak Book 3: I am hard at work on this one. The book is completely written. My original goal was to wrap up the improvement phase sometime in October, but that now looks like it will be early January. It’s a big book, plus I was sick for nearly the entire month of November. That slowed me down a little. I’m all better now. 😊
Infinity Control, Born of Ash Book 2: Currently in the development phase. It is partially written and once I am done with Paladin’s Light, I will finish writing it.
The Tiger’s Fight, CILO Book 7: This book is also in the development phase. I have finished the outline and begun actual writing. It’s gonna be a large book, and by large, I mean over 200k words. I am projecting it to be ready in summer 2022.
Weekly Contests: Every Monday we will be announcing a new contest. Prizes will include autographed books, proofs, and merchandise from the Stiger Store. This week’s giveaway was an awesome long-sleeved Stiger’s Tigers shirt. Follow me on social media to learn about the contests.
Hardbacks: The entire CILO series is now available in hardback. You can order them on Amazon. The hardbacks look and feel awesome. They are put together very well and look great on a shelf.

A Personal Note: We’re in the process of closing on our new home in the western North Carolina mountains. We hope to settle this coming Wednesday. I am super excited to put down roots in a new community. I’ve been coming to Highlands since my childhood and now my kids are growing up in this beautiful part of the country. I am also looking forward to setting up a new writing office. More on that in the coming days.

Marc’s Writing Update 06 08 2021
Hi everyone!
It’s been a while since I share an update on my writing and other things that are happening in my world. After [finally] wrapping up Fallen Empire, I’ve taken a well-deserved week off to rest and recover. Building a new world is a lot of work and in the end, I was putting in 15-18 hour days to meet my goal of an early July release. Woot woot!! Yesterday was the first day I got back to writing…and it felt really good. I spent a few hours cranking out the next Eli chapter and Today, I will spend time refining and enhancing it. See below for more on Eli, a Ranger’s Tale.
Writing Updates:
Fallen Empire, Born of Ash, Book 1 is complete! The book has been formatted for print and eBook. There will be a preorder on this one and it should be up in the next couple of days. I am shooting for an early July launch. Audio will release in a few weeks. Book 2 should follow sometime in the fall. I can’t wait to introduce you to Keira and Gunnery Sergeant McCandless, Corporal Mendes and Private Harris among other new characters. The book will be available on Kindle Unlimited to all KU users on the release day.
Paladin’s Light, Tovak, Book 3 (the final book in the series) is currently a work in progress. Major writing for the book is expected wrap by mid-July, with a September release. Stay tuned for more.
Off Indigo Station (new Sci-Fi series) and The Tiger’s Fight, CILO, Book 7 are on deck next and will likely release early to mid 2022. The Tiger’s Fight will be the size of the Tiger’s Time at around 200,000 words. It’s gonna be a monster of a book and I am super excited about this one!
Eli, A Ranger’s Tale, Chapters 1-8 are up on my Patreon Page for all members of the Legion. This is Eli’s origin story. For those of you that don’t know, I am releasing this book one chapter at a time on Patreon. It is a great way to help support my writing and fill in the gap between Stiger books.

Video Series In the coming weeks, I am going to be releasing a series on writing via YouTube, Facebook, and Tok-tok. These will be short videos that will be full of tips on how to write and publish a book as an indie. If you are interested in becoming a writer, stay tuned. In addition, we will be doing more FB lives and providing additional video content.
Streaming on Twitch
I plan on getting back to streaming on Twitch soon now that Fallen Empire is complete. That book took a lot of my effort since it was the first in the series. A lot of thought and time goes into planning a new universe.
The Beast We expect to have the Beast back from Freightliner in July. The engine replacement is almost complete. They moved the RV out to a shop that can hoist it. The thing weighs over 30,000 pounds. As soon as we get it back, we plan to get back on the road to travel the country for meetups and conventions. We plan on chronicling our adventures.
