Hello, Legion! I have a LOT of news to share with you today! We’ve been busy behind the scenes, and some exciting things are finally coming together. From the launch of something we’ve been working on for more than a year to new books, upcoming stories, history videos, and a chance to chat with me live, there’s plenty to talk about. Let’s get right into it! Here’s What’s Happening!
Now, let’s get into the details! 1. Introducing The Real Author — Our Way of Giving BackThis is something I’m particularly excited to share. After more than a year of planning, writing, developing content, and working behind the scenes, we’ve officially launched The Real Author. Why did we create it? I’ve spent more than a decade writing and publishing books, building a career as an author, learning the business, making mistakes, finding successes, and figuring out what actually works. Over those years, I’ve learned an enormous amount about writing, independent publishing, traditional publishing, marketing, and the business side of being an author. And here’s the thing: I don’t believe that knowledge should be kept secret. The Real Author is our way of giving back. We want to share what we’ve learned, including the lessons that came the hard way, to help other writers avoid unnecessary mistakes and build successful, sustainable careers. Whether you’re just getting started, have already published a few books, or are an experienced author looking to grow your business, our goal is to provide useful, practical information grounded in real-world experience. Writing advice. Publishing insight. Experience shared. We’ve spent more than a year developing this project and have a tremendous amount of content already prepared, with much more planned. That includes articles, writing and publishing guides, business resources, publishing intelligence, social media insights, and videos designed to help authors at every stage of their careers. We’re also launching a dedicated YouTube channel, with videos expected to begin appearing this week or next. And we’re just getting started! We won’t overwhelm everyone by releasing everything at once. Instead, we’ll steadily roll out the material over the coming weeks and months, building a growing library of resources. 2. The Tiger’s Battle — Preorder Now, or Read It Today!I know many of you have been eagerly awaiting the next installment of Stiger’s Chronicles. Well, I have good news! 3. What’s Coming Next? The Tiger’s War and The Second Trail!Just because The Tiger’s Battle is finished doesn’t mean I’ve been taking it easy. Far from it! I’m already hard at work writing The Tiger’s War, Book 10 of Stiger’s Chronicles. My goal is to begin posting chapters on Patreon in November, giving members an early look at the next installment as the story continues to unfold. But that’s not all. I’m also getting ready to introduce another story I’ve been wanting to tell. The Second Trail, featuring Marcus the Ranger and Aver’Mons, is planned to begin appearing on Patreon in November or December. I’m excited about this one and looking forward to sharing it with you. Between these projects and my other writing commitments, there’s certainly no shortage of stories to tell. Have You Seen My History Videos?If you’ve been following me on social media lately, you may have noticed something different. I’ve been spending a lot more time in front of the camera! I’ve started creating regular short-form videos about ancient Roman history, along with updates about my writing, books, and life as an author. If you’ve read my books, you already know how much I enjoy history, particularly ancient Rome. Historical research has always played an important role in my writing, and these videos give me an opportunity to share some of the fascinating things I’ve learned. From Roman military life and the men who commanded the legions to the fascinating details of everyday life in the ancient world, there’s no shortage of material to explore. I’m having a lot of fun making them, and I hope you’re enjoying them too. You can find these videos on TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube, with some additional bonus content appearing on Patreon. For now, my focus is primarily on shorter videos, but we do have plans to produce more in-depth, long-form content in the future. And with The Real Author, I hope to take some of what I’ve learned on that journey and help other writers pursue their own dreams.
